City Committee meeting June 15

Medford Democratic City Committee Meeting
Wednesday, June 15, 2016
7:00 p.m.
Alden Chambers at Medford City Hall
With the current state of politics in this country, local grassroots activism is more important than ever. We challenge you to not only attend, but also to bring a friend or neighbor who’s interested in getting involved in real change for the city, the Commonwealth, and the country.
The featured speaker at the June meeting will be Michael Ruggiero, who will talk about his efforts to invoke charter review here in Medford. Learn why he and a group of community activists consider charter review critical to democracy and the future of the city. He will talk about the efforts to date, the current state of the initiative, and how people can learn more or get involved.
The complete meeting agenda is as follows:
  1. Introductions & announcements
  2. Featured speaker: Michael Ruggiero, “The fight for charter reform in Medford”
  3. Treasurer’s report
  4. Old business
    1. Massachusetts Democratic Convention
  5. New business
