Where:  Virtual Meeting. A Zoom invitation will be sent to you a few days before the election. (If you are not a current member of a Medford Democratic ward committee and would like to attend, please email nanciedenise@aol.com.)

We are seeking candidates for the Medford Democratic Citywide  Committee for 2020-2024. The offices are:

• Chairperson
• Co-chairperson
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Affirmative Action Officer

The roles and responsibilities of each office are described in the Massachusetts Democratic Party’s Chairs’ Manual.

Any eligible member interested in being nominated may submit his/her name and the specific office to Nancy White’s email address nanciedenise@aol.com before midnight May 7th, 2020. 

Note: The position of Co-Chairperson is to be the opposite sex of the Chairperson.  If there are no candidates for a specific office submitted by May 7, nominations will be taken from the floor during the May 14th meeting.

Eligibility to vote and run for office: Only duly elected or appointed ward committee members as of the individual ward’s re-organization meeting held during the month of April 2020 are eligible to vote or be nominated.
