The Medford Democratic City Committee is a group of dedicated residents who work on a volunteer basis to support Democratic candidates, help register voters, and spread Democratic values at local, state and national levels, on priorities and goals identified respectively. We believe the Democratic Party has long stood for equity among all races and we are recommitting ourselves to do more in the fight to fix systemic prejudice and racism within our communities. Complicity is everywhere because our social systems fail to provide basic protections for people of color.

We are heartbroken with the recent murders of George Floyd, Ahmad Arbery, and Breanna Taylor, just to name a few, and we strongly condemn all these senseless killings. We stand with the Black Lives Matter movement and all people of color in denouncing violence and hate.

Action starts at the local level and that includes political action; that is where everyone can help fix this negative environment. Your vote is one of the most powerful and important tools to effectuate the changes we have been waiting for too long.
